Every person has different memories in their life which can never be forgotten. My first day of school is one such memory to remember forever. The day was 7th January 2008, the day I first stepped into school. I was very young then, barely 5 to 6 years old. Mother brought me to school on time that day. As soon as I arrived at school, I found myself in a completely unfamiliar place.

As if an unknown fear worked in the mind. I felt very helpless in the crowd of students. Finally a senior class student escorted me to my classroom. When I reached the classroom, I was even more devastated when I saw the same shadow of fear among my classmates. I saw Kou Kou crying. Anyway, I tried to give myself some courage.

At exactly nine in the morning, the breakfast meeting was held. We lined up one after the other. Headmaster spoke and welcomed us. After the morning meeting, we came back to the class room and sat down. Our class teacher came. He told us many things and informed us about various rules. After a while the first bell rang. Then two more teachers came one by one and took two classes. All the teachers were very gentle and encouraged us. This friendly behavior of the teachers gradually helped me overcome my fear.

Then the break started. I talked a little with my classmates. At the end of the break hour, the English teacher came. He told us many funny stories to refresh us. We all listened attentively and enjoyed. Then when the last bell rang I left the school. This is how my first day of school ended. I will remember the unfamiliar environment, unknown fear, new identity of that day forever.
